I was just a youngster when I joined dA 13 years ago.  I'm 41 now - got a leg amputated, had 2 more children, got married, went through 2 cars and 3 motorcycles, had 3 jobs, and moved 3 times - living in 4 states since I joined. I wasn't very active on dA for the first 5 years, then had a period where that's all I did, now for the past few years I'm back to nearly no activity.  I want to change that, become more active and participate in this wonderful community again. So many talented artists I'm missing out on... so, I'm back  

I've got a long trip ahead of me tomorrow.  I'm riding my motorcycle to Tampa to trade it in for one of these: http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/8192/sabrem.png It's a new 2010 Honda Sabre 1300.  I know it's 2011, but the model is 2010 - a new one at that - in candy apple red!  It was incredibly difficult to find one new in the color I wanted so I really don't mind a 250 mile road trip from Key West.  Madeline, my boss and my wife, is giving me Friday through Monday off to make the trip and enjoy a long weekend.  So far, she's been perfectly happy with the Honda Shadow 750 I gave her a few years back, let's hope she doesn't get the Sabre b

My career list so far (chronologically): catalog model, prison guard, motorcycle cop, medical investigator, house husband.  The kids are old enough that Madeline and I think it's about time for a change again.  Cut my shaggy hair and prepped my resume.  There's gotta be something for a one-legged, coarse, simian-looking guy out there.  Stay tuned and wish me luck… :)
